Dubbed by Forbes Magazine as one of the “New Kings of New York Hospitality,” EMM Group co-founder Eugene Remm and his partner Mark Birnbaum have developed a dynamic portfolio of successful venues since the company’s incorporation in 2006.
Identifying a need for establishments that offer multiple experiences within the same property, EMM Group has introduced synergy between restaurants and nightlife, opening venues in numerous markets that create seamless transitions between dining and entertainment.
In the present day, Remm and his partner continue to pioneer multi-faceted hospitality experiences while shifting focus to domestic and international expansion of the CATCH (2011) brand. With its multi-level flagship located in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District, the globally influenced seafood concept has outposts in Dubai, Playa del Carmen and Los Angeles, where the 12,000 square foot rooftop restaurant opened September 2016.
Most recently Remm co-founded Rumble (2016), a boxing-inspired group fitness concept, with partners Noah Neiman (former Barry’s Bootcamp Master Trainer), Andy Stenzler (co-founder Cosi, Kidville) and Anthony DiMarco (13-time Ironman & former Managing Director, Google). With locations opening in Manhattan’s Flatiron and NoHo neighborhoods in Fall of 2016, Rumble welcomes a new generation of boxers to a unique training format built around 50 minutes and 11 rounds of full-body strength training and conditioning.
